January eNews from Westminster Theological Seminary Praising God for his provision Please join the Seminary in praising God for his abundant provision for us in 2005. Contributions in December far exceeded our budgeted need for the month, enabling us to consider several projects that will increase our effectiveness in training gospel servants. Valuable research tool acquired The Montgomery Library and the Craig Center for the Study of the Westminster Standards are pleased to announce the acquisition of Early American Imprints Series I and II, electronic collections of books, pamphlets, and periodicals published in the U.S. between 1639 and 1820. Early American Imprints provides access to previously out-of-print primary source material that is vital for quality research. The acquisition of Early American Imprints, along with the acquisition of Early English Books Online in 2003, provides the Seminary with an outstanding early modern library to supplement the library's print collections, and will attract students and scholars to Westminster. Acquisition of Early American Imprints I and II has been made possible in part by a generous donation from The Providence Forum. Church leaders, audit a Spring 2006 course free Elders and deacons can choose one eligible course to audit each semester at no cost at our suburban Philadelphia and Texas campuses. Details of the church leader audit program are available online. Church leader audit applications for spring are due January 15. Dust off your passport Westminster invites you to participate in several exciting tours this spring and summer: Join Chancellor Samuel Logan and his wife Susan on a five-star tour of Israel and Jordan, July 17-August 1, 2006.
