Women of Westminster

Women of Westminster consists of women students, wives of students, faculty wives, administrators, and staff. Our objectives are to nurture biblical thinking and Christian lifestyles, and to offer ministry opportunities.

Each academic year, volunteers from the Westminster community work with our leadership team to offer the following fellowship and training opportunities:

Candlelight Dessert Reception
Held each September, the dessert reception is the official start of our year. A special program introduces new and returning women to the people, resources, and activities of our organization. Many friendships begin here.

Faculty Lecture Series
The faculty lecture series is a program of continuing education for women of the Westminster community and local churches. Each semester, various Westminster professors teach a series on a relevant theme. The series is an excellent educational opportunity for working wives and other women who otherwise are unable to enroll as students.

"My enthusiasm for these lectures increases with each session. I have been challenged to question my convictions and have a deeper understanding of the personal nature of God's love as manifested at the cross."
 - Doris MacPherson, member of Maple Glen Bible Fellowship and regular attendee of the Faculty Lecture Series
